FRAGMENTS OF TIME

Memory is fragile—both a vessel for truth and a mirror of distortion.

Shaped by time, fractured by emotion, and filtered through perception, it shifts with every recollection, transforming the stories we tell ourselves. This fragility lies at the heart of Fragments of Time, an autobiographical exploration of memory and identity through self-portraiture.

Unfolding in five chapters—The Calling, The Nutcracker, The Immortal, The Altered, and The Revelation—the series uses long-exposure photography to stretch time and dissolve the boundaries of self within a single frame. What remains are ghostly imprints of an ever-changing identity.

Fragments of Time extends beyond the personal, reflecting the collective human experience. It invites you, the viewer, to turn inward and consider the shifting nature of identity, challenging you to rethink the versions of self that emerge over time. Do you leave your past selves behind, or do they remain within you?
