ABOUT

Cynthia Ghoussoub is a Lebanese contemporary photographer and storyteller whose practice explores themes of memory, identity, and the natural world. She earned her BA in Photography from Notre Dame University (NDU) in 2015, debuting her series Fragments of Time in a solo exhibition at Beirut's KAF Gallery.

She appeared on the second season of National Geographic Abu Dhabi's I Am a Nat Geo Photographer (2018) and, that same year, ran the Beirut Center of Photography (BCP). Following a move to Sierra Leone in 2019, she served as Photo Editor for Al Rawiya Magazine (2021–2025). Her return to Beirut in 2022 included overseeing pre-opening operations for a new gallery.

Cynthia continues to develop an interdisciplinary practice, questioning how stories of self and society are preserved, narrated, and reimagined within visual culture.
